GOO SONG MEANINGS GAME

Let's start a new game. I really enjoy deciphering and discussing the lyrics of the Goo Goo Dolls songs. Since we all have different opinions, it will be interesting to read each others comments.
Rules: Type in your interpretation of the Goo Goo Dolls song from the above post and add the title of a different GGD song for the next person to interpret.
First one:"YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN" (HMU)

"You know what I mean" expresses to me the breaking point in a speechless relationship lasting too long while knowing it`ll never have a happy ending. Fact: They didn`t fit together mentally and personally.
The difference was too big.

LOL funny how John has always said that writing Sympathy "scared the hell out of him" but I never got to see how he viewed the song that way until a few months back when I decided to really sit down and listen to the song--and yeah it did scare me alright lol To me the song's an expression of frustration at someone but then also realizing things about yourself that you haven't known before.
What do you think of "Here is Gone"? (yeah, just had to put in my favorite song) :angel9:

Song: HERE IS GONE
In my opinion, 'HERE IS GONE' is a song about a couple going through a nasty divorce. The guy is very upset his marriage ended because he really loved his wife. It hurts him that his wife blames him for all her failures and that her life is not perfect.

I guess "Only One" describes the point, when you notice that you`re now confident enough to do your own thing the way you want it and care about nobody else (in music-buiz) but you and f... off critics even if you fail.
