GOO SONG MEANINGS GAME

<< < (3/6) > >>

cynical&beautiful:
TorontoGoo, I love your new avatar  :angel9: ties in perfectly with the recent John-in-a-dress talk on here

Dizzy is an awesome, awesome song. To me it's just a song about a girl, except that it's written in really awesome lyrics. You're cynical and beautiful you always make a scene, you're monochrome delirious, you're nothing that you seem.... Ahhh I just love the rush in that song and how it soars in the chorus  :angel9:

Next song: Domino

GermanGoo:
To me, Domino`s the retrospective of the Goo`s first years. Struggling had to make a living on their music and sometimes guessing to throw in the towel.

New one: Full forever

fullxforever:
full forever. i think its about how great things can be, but all good things soon come to an end, but want things to remain the same as they are. why cant the moon stay full forever?... love it, as you can tell by my username =].

new one:
aint that unusual

TorontoGoo:
song:  AIN'T THAT UNUSUAL

In my opinion "Ain't That Unusual" is the dialogue between John and Mike regarding their music options.  Robby sat back and wrote down the entire conversation between John and Mike.  Then when the conversation ended, Robby pulled out his notes, the boys laughed and converted it into a song.

new one:  ALL EYES ON MY

new one:  ALL EYES ON ME
--- End quote ---

The person narrating, I believe, is trying to explain how he didn't want certain things to happen the way they did. And it caused someone, who the narrator was very close with, to put the blame on him for all the changes that has effected both of their lives, but kept all of his thoughts to himself and didn't let his friend (the narrator) know exactly how he felt, although the narrator had a good idea .. Also, even though the narrator is not to blame for all the changes that has driven his friend into a melancholy state, everyone else blames that narrator for putting his friend down in the dumps.

new:  so long
