Lucky Star... First I have to say that, in my opinion, I think that this is Robby's best song lyrically.
I think it is a song is simply about someone describing their eternal love and adoration towards someone, but doesnt want to see that person get lost in something that could change them forever.

Ok, I really just think it's about naturally being at that age in your life when you're on the precipice of something eventual. Like, you're at the beginning of the rest of your life, and there's a lot of possibilities, but you're young, so maybe you don't quite see it, or you're just confused about all of it, understandably so.
So, yeah... I think it's about being young and growing up and forward. (y'all know, perpendicularly.)
