And now for the answer to the question so many have wrote to us about ..

The next AG Goo Goo Dolls fan video is going to be …. (insert drum roll here)
‘Sweetest Lie’!

We figured you guys needed something kinda upbeat, to get you out of the mid-December/Jan slog of too much food and holiday music. The holidays aren’t always as cheerful for some as commercial television would have you believe so .. tada,’ Sweetest Lie.’

As most of you know, the ‘Home’ fan video was a huge success, because of the efforts of Goo fans everywhere, including the two people on this site that worked on it and the dozens of fans that sent in their submissions. And now once again .. we need your help!

We need a video treatment! We want your ideas on how you think the ‘storyline’ for this video should go. We know over the years many of you have come up with great ideas for videos; some of them, quite frankly, better than the treatments the official videos had, in my opinion. Now, we want to hear from you! Put some thought into it and email us at: myvideo@absolutegoo.com. Deadline for treatment ideas is December 15th.

The choosen treatment or concept will have that Goo fan’s name and contribution in the closing credits of the video.

So I’m curious .. what are you asking Santa for, for Christmas?

World peace? A bipartisan House of Reps? Or one of those Snuggie things that is a carefully disguised backwards robe? Dashboard Jesus, new Menorah or Kwanzaa doll? Let me know, I’m sure you’ve all been very good ..
