Checking in on the big show star phone is a GRAMMY-nominated artist who’s sold over 20 million records as the guitarist, songwriter & lead singer of the Goo Goo Dolls! The pride of Buffalo, NY, Johnny Rzeznik.
Johnny did a mini-concert from his porch last month in Westfield, NJ when mayor Shelly Brindle got creative and asked him if he could take part in their WE LOVE LOCAL campaign, in order to help raise money for small businesses affected by social distancing.
Johnny says he was all for it, since he's got nothing to do, and sat down on his porch to film it on an iPhone.
It's not all fun and games, he's got a toddler running around the house that he's got to contend with, but other than that, quarantine has been treating him well.
The high point of his lockdown-days always seems to be with his daughter, sitting down for dinner with the family, and taking each day as it comes.
"Right after we do this, I'm gonna go right back to bed," he joked.
"I'm just glad to see everybody coming together in this really crazy time and we're all helping each other out."
Speaking of helping each other out, consider donating to the crews who make your favorite concert experiences possible via Crew Nation.
The Goo Goo Dolls latest studio album, 'Miracle Pill,' is out now.
